Exhibition and performances at November Music Festival.

My cigar sound installation 'Play it one more time for me La Ville Fumee' will be joining the international November Music Festival 2014 in Den Bosch Netherlands from 5 - 9 november.
Every evening it will be demonstrated to give an experience with sound, burning cigars and the visuals of the installation itself.

A time Capsule of life in New Media Triennial 'Thingworld' NAMOC, Beijing.

I'm happy to announce that I've been awarded with a work contribution for proven talent. A 4 year grant of the Dutch Mondriaan Fund, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Invited for the November Music Festival 2014. The biggest contemporary music festival in the Netherlands with a lot of music performances and exhibitions about sound art.
I will be joining the festival with my installation 'Play it one more time for me La Ville Fumee' and will perform 7 times...
My installation will be exhibited at the Willem II building. A former cigar factory!

First test model for new sculpture. It will be exhibited at CBK Amsterdam, Centre for Contemporary Art, this summer. The titel of the exhibition; Hanging Around.

New sound art installation in Surrey, England.

Last week I finished my latest installation;
'Sound Architecture 5.0' at the Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden / Gallery in Ockley, Surrey, England.

It contains about 5000 chrome bicycle bell caps with a height of 20 cm - 100 cm. It's about 10 meters long and 3,5 meters wide. The high bells are capturing strong winds what's putting them together in a soft tickling noise.
In autumn a giant Oak tree nearby takes over and plays the installation with its falling acorns...

Official opening artwork 'Even the sparrow has to practice'.

On Saturday the 8th of march this sculpture will be officially opened by Gerrit van Woudenbergh alderman of the municipality Almelo.
Location: Kolthofsingel 15, Almelo, Netherlands.
It starts at 3 p.m. AT the NAXT building.

The sculpture 'Even the sparrow has to practice' is finally finished. A sculpture with breading nests inside the tower of 6 meter hight. It's a sound sculpture near the NAXT building, a pop stage facility for young musicians in Almelo, Netherlands.

Update about the sculpture in Almelo city.

Almost done! But still a couple of weeks work to finnish the slates on top and the birds nests inside...

Last day for the art installation 'For Whom the Tides Toll' at DordtYart 2013.

Last evening on october the 6th was the last day and night of the 2013 exhibition at DordtYart Art Foundation. With a marvelous gathering of an international group of artists, writers, curators and art lovers of Sculpture Network.
My installation 'For Whom the Tides Toll' will also be in the DortYart 2014 show!
A sound sculpture which changes the tones of the organ pipes on the movement of the tides...

First stage of installation A Time Capsule of Life is complete.

This is the first stage of the new installation 'A Time Capsule of Life' before completion. Coming sunday October the 6th my latest solo exhibition will be opened for public from 3 - 6 pm in Het Glazen Huis, Amstelpark, Netherlands.

A Time Capsule of Life is a moving and sound producing sculpture, the structure of which derives from a seed; a complete survival package. The sculpture is created from plastic bags, a contemporary mode of distribution of daily goods which, connected together, form a transparent structure of cells and conduits. By connecting the plastic bags with air tubes the bags are pumped up by the movement of the audience, bringing the seed to life.
